Thanks to Aaron Landry, Jason DeRusha from WCCO, Taylor, and Aaron’s neighbor Troy, I was on the Channel 4 News last night for about 3 seconds. Video can be seen here online.

Troy is the one with the outstanding lights display that I posted about last week. He set up his lights to go off to some music, which he transmits to a low band radio station so you can listen from your car.

Here’s how the story went down last week. Aaron posted about his neighbors lights to his weblog, I read it and as soon as Tricia got home we drove over there. Jason found out about it through Taylor, and was over there two hours after Aaron’s first post, with camera in hand. Tricia and I were just sitting in our cars when Jason walked over and asked if he could talk to us for a bit. I didn’t really know what to say, and I sounded like a big dork, but heck, I still made it on TV!
