Today marks my sixth anniversary of blogging, first at brianmoen.com, and now at east-lake.net. Most of the archives are down now, but you can look at some of the older posts via the Wayback Machine. I still can’t believe I’ve been doing it for this long. Hopefully I’ve improved as a writer, and made the site more entertaining to read. Thank you to everyone that has visited over the years, and I hope to continue posting for years to come.

Congrats, Moe. Your writing has come a long way. And you most definitely outlasted my blog. Keep it up!

THANK YOU, Moen, for providing a daily internet “rest stop” that I can go to for a good chat/debate with friends. East-lake.net makes the work day much easier to manage.

Your writing is excellent. One of my favorite ways to measure a writer is very simple: Do I understand WTF he is trying to say? The answer with you is always Yes. That’s an underrated trait.
Six years holy shit. Ditto Tube: thanks for giving us a spot.

Good work Brian. Six years is a long time for most of us, but not Moens. Heck, Dean Moen has been talking about retiring for at least 60 years now…still going strong.
