I bought my old house 8 years ago today (sold it last week). I never thought I’d be in that place for that long, but it was a great place, and I’ll miss it. I had some great times there that I’ll never forget.
Went to the Muddy Pig last night with Sam for a few beers and to watch the end of the Twins game. Had a Surly CynicAle, Flat Earth Element 115, and a Ommegang Hennepin.
Made my second to last car payment today. Can’t wait to get that paid off.
Been reading reviews of the iPhone - sounds like it will live up the hype somewhat. A few minor issues, but should change the cell phone game completely. I can’t wait for the next gen models, which should hopefully be cheaper, smaller, and even better.
The weather has been really nice lately, so I’ve been on a few bike rides with Eric around Lake Phalen and north into Little Canada. Tonight I’m thinking I’ll try to find a path to Como Park.
Had dinner at Glockenspiel German Restaurant in St. Paul on Friday night. Not the best German food I’ve had but I did enjoy my Jagerschnitzel.
I could be wrong, but I think you can take Wheelock Parkway all the way to Como. Take Johnson up to Phalen and start heading west.
